On March 25, the Yuchai YCK14FN gas engine was officially launched in Shanxi Province, China-the inaugural stop of its national rollout. Marking its debut, the engine was showcased alongside the Auman Star Power 14L gas-powered tractor at a joint appreciation event. Representatives from 19 logistics and transportation companies in Pingyao, as well as numerous end-users, attended the ceremony, where 225 orders were quickly secured for Auman Star tractors fitted with the Yuchai YCK14FN gas engine.
Resource-based freight markets-including coal, sand and gravel, and general cargo-remain critical segments of the logistics and transportation industry. With a B10 design life of 1.8 million kilometers, it significantly lowers failure rates and cuts maintenance costs.
In terms of performance, the engine is equipped with intelligent torque technology, which delivers high torque output at low speeds to enhance starting and climbing capabilities. Combined with a small-inertia dual-scroll turbocharger and swirl combustion technology, it optimizes intake efficiency and gas combustion efficiency, while reducing gas consumption through multiple energy-saving technologies-helping users realize substantial savings on operating costs.
Foton Auman Heavy Duty Truck has simultaneously launched its 14L natural gas tractor powered by the Yuchai YCK14FN engine, available in two power ratings-510 hp and 530 hp-to meet different transport scenarios and load capacities, injecting new momentum into the resource transportation industry.
