On March 26, the 26th China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (cippe) kicked off at Shunyi Exhibition Center in Beijing. In the conventional power segment, Yuchai's YC20VTD series diesel engines are designed for heavy-duty oil and gas equipment such as fracturing trucks and drilling rigs. They deliver high torque, perform reliably in harsh and complex environments worldwide, and boast a B10 service life of over 30,000 hours.
The Yuchai YCK27/YCK32 "Mengqing 3" diesel engines are tailored for the complex formations and operating conditions of oil and gas fields. Compliant with stringent global emission standards-including China Non-road Stage IV, EPA Tier 4, and European standards-they have become the go-to power choice for heavy oil and gas equipment.
In the new energy space, the YCK20 flywheel extended-range system, a global power benchmark, solves the power supply challenge in off-grid areas. It significantly cuts overall fuel consumption and enables efficient operation through AI intelligent management, reducing fuel use by 25%–50% compared to traditional mechanical transmission systems and offering substantial whole-life-cycle cost benefits.
Yuchai's YCK16LM methanol flywheel extended-range system, which runs on methanol, features a modular design and strong adaptability across multiple scenarios. It also achieves "zero fuel consumption during standby," fueling low-carbon transformation from the energy source.
Additionally, Yuchai made a striking debut with a 1,200 kW diesel generator set. Equipped with the YC16VTD diesel engine, this unit is specifically engineered for complex drilling conditions, capable of withstanding extreme environments such as high temperatures, severe cold, and sandstorms. It offers fast startup, precise speed regulation, and stable, reliable power output for extended continuous operation. Having undergone rigorous endurance testing, the generator set features low maintenance costs, meets T3 emission standards, and has become a preferred equipment choice for leading domestic petroleum enterprises.
