From June 11th to 13th, the 24th China (Shanghai) International Power Equipment and Generator Set Exhibition (GPOWER for short) was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. Yuchai brought its YC16VCN gas generator set, as well as YC16VC and YC20VTD diesel engines for power generation and other high-end power equipment to the exhibition, fully demonstrating Yuchai's cutting-edge technological achievements and outstanding strength in the field of power generation.
Yuchai YC16VCN gas-fired generator set is the first 2MW high-speed gas-fired generator set in China. Its electrical efficiency exceeds 42%, which is comparable to the world's first-class level. It can be widely used in gas-fired power plants such as oil extraction, natural gas extraction, coal mining, biogas engineering, livestock breeding, and garbage disposal, and can provide users with efficient, reliable, economical, and environmentally friendly green power solutions.
The YC16VC series power generation adopts high-temperature wear-resistant materials and the world's leading electronically controlled high-pressure common rail technology, which is perfectly adapted to 2500-3300kW generator sets. It has significant advantages such as compact design, excellent performance, green energy saving, high efficiency and reliability. It is widely used in data centers, isolated island power stations, large commercial centers and high-end manufacturing enterprises in various industries, and can provide solid guarantee for the stable power supply in important areas.
As Yuchai's innovative masterpiece, the YC20VTD diesel engine has a speed of 1800 rpm and is specially designed for 2000kW common generator sets. It adopts a compact design with small cylinder diameter and multiple cylinders, and has the advantages of small size and light weight, which is easy to install and transport; it is equipped with high-efficiency combustion technologies such as high-pressure common rail, four-supercharger, water-to-air intercooling, etc., and the cylinder liner, piston, piston ring, bearing, etc. all use low-friction kinematic pairs, which greatly improves fuel economy.

This GPOWER Power Exhibition is jointly sponsored by the China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association, the Emergency Power Equipment Committee of the China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association, the Internal Combustion Power Generation Equipment Branch of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association and other units. As an annual event of the industry, the exhibition area of this year has been expanded again, and the number of exhibitors has reached a new historical high. The exhibition area exceeds 60,000 square meters, and more than 1,000 domestic and foreign companies have participated in the exhibition. A large number of new products, new technologies, and new application scenarios in the fields of power equipment, generator sets, intelligent computing power, and data center infrastructure are exhibited at the exhibition.
