From October 26 to 28, the 2026 China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Tianjin). Yuchai showcased its full lineup of hybrid power products and unveiled two new offerings: the YCF40 IE‑Power hybrid powertrain and the YCK12L‑300kW flywheel range extender system. Distinguished guests including Academician Chen Xuegeng of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Ning Xuegui, Vice President of the China Agricultural Machinery Industry Association, Huo Xiaofeng, Deputy General Manager of Zoomlion Agricultural Machinery, and Tan Guirong, Deputy General Manager of Yuchai Co., Ltd., jointly unveiled the new products.
Centered on the theme "Leadership · Assurance · Intelligence · Green", this exhibition gathered more than 3,000 enterprises at home and abroad, with an exhibition area of nearly 300,000 square meters. The two newly launched Yuchai products target the lightweight requirements for paddy field operations and the hybrid upgrade demand for large agricultural machinery, delivering dedicated power solutions to drive the green transformation of agricultural equipment.
The Yuchai YCF40 IE‑Power hybrid powertrain is tailor‑made for paddy field tractors, compatible with 70–120 HP tractors. Adopting lightweight construction and IP6K protection rating, it is well suited to harsh working conditions in paddy fields. Equipped with a dedicated medium‑speed hollow motor and an independent mechanical PTO output, it meets the transmission requirements of both tracked and wheeled tractors. Its integrated structural design facilitates retrofitting of existing conventional models.
The Yuchai YCK12L‑300kW flywheel range extender system is developed for large harvesting equipment and heavy‑duty agricultural machinery. Built on hybrid flywheel range extension technology, it fits large grain combine harvesters and is also compatible with high‑horsepower tractors, silage harvesters and other machines. It addresses industry pain points including high fuel consumption during continuous operation, limited system expandability and high vehicle integration difficulty, and provides an efficient and flexible hybrid power solution.
In addition, Yuchai exhibited a full portfolio of hybrid power products including the YCA05L, YCA08L, YCK09 IE‑Power powertrains, as well as YCF11‑15kW and YCK20‑600kW flywheel range extender systems. During the show, Zoomlion Agricultural Machinery launched the 9DX, the world's highest‑horsepower tractor, which is powered by Yuchai's YCK20, the world's highest‑power flywheel range extender system. This demonstrates Yuchai's technological strength in high‑end agricultural machinery power.
From dedicated paddy‑field power to heavy‑duty large agricultural machinery, Yuchai keeps expanding application scenarios for hybrid power technology.
