The 2026 International Low-Altitude Economy & Unmanned Systems Expo, alongside the 11th Shenzhen International UAV Exhibition, was held at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center from May 21 to 23 under the theme Low-Altitude Economy, Flying Toward the Future. Yuchai showcased a full range of independently developed low-altitude power products, attracting substantial industry attention throughout the event.

The five exhibited low-altitude power units fully cater to the demands of medium and large low-altitude aircraft for heavy payload, long endurance and high operational reliability. Covering a power range from 10kW to 350kW, the product lineup boasts extensive application scenarios and prominent technical advantages.

YCU170/U200 (10kW/12kW)
Adopting a two-stroke horizontally opposed twin-cylinder configuration, this engine incorporates electronically controlled in-cylinder direct injection and independent fixed-point lubrication technologies. It supports multi-fuel operation with aviation kerosene and diesel, and is applicable to various low-altitude aircraft with a takeoff weight of 50kg to 120kg.

YCU550 (20kW)
Featuring a four-stroke horizontally opposed twin-cylinder structure, this power unit is equipped with electronically controlled in-cylinder direct injection and a wet circulating lubrication system. Compatible with multiple fuels including aviation kerosene and diesel, it suits single-engine low-altitude aircraft weighing 100kg to 200kg.

YCUV4500 (255kW)
Designed with a V6 cylinder layout, this engine integrates high-efficiency turbocharging and electronically controlled high-pressure common rail systems. Having undergone over 10,000 hours of bench reliability assessment, it is ideal for 1 to 2.5-ton low-altitude aircraft requiring heavy payload and long-endurance performance.

YCU6000 (350kW)
Built with a platform-based and modular V8 structure, this unit adopts high-efficiency turbocharging and electronically controlled high-pressure common rail systems. Validated by more than 10,000 hours of bench durability tests, it adapts to 1.5 to 3.5-ton low-altitude aircraft with ultra-heavy payload and ultra-long endurance requirements.
With over 70 years of profound accumulation in the internal combustion engine industry, Yuchai capitalizes on its solid technological strengths to strategically deploy the low-altitude piston power sector, steadily driving the iteration and upgrading of its offerings from standalone power units to complete powertrain solution packages. To date, the company has forged in-depth cooperative ties with multiple domestic aircraft manufacturers.
