The first YCK11 engine manufactured at Yuchai Vietnam Plant has successfully rolled off the production line and completed its trial run. This milestone marks the plant's official transition into a new phase of advanced localized manufacturing.

To equip the engine with full adaptability to Vietnam's complex and varied operating landscapes, the test track replicated a full spectrum of real-world road conditions. Steep slopes mimicked the northwestern mountainous terrain to test the engine's torque reserve and sustained endurance. Rough gravel roads simulated the central highland landforms to validate the stability and reliability of the power system. Muddy road sections reproduced rainy-season driving challenges to confirm vehicle traversability, while continuous undulating roads accurately evaluated overall driving stability and balance.
Throughout all rigorous tests, the Yuchai YCK11 engine operated steadily and reliably, delivering consistent, robust power output. It passed every stringent assessment, completing the trial run mission with full success.
The localized production and successful technical validation of the YCK11 engine represent not only a crucial milestone in Yuchai's overseas development strategy, but also a true "Chinese Core" taking firm root and maturing in Vietnam. Integrating steadily into local economic development, the project serves as a compelling demonstration of deepening industrial cooperation between China and Vietnam.
