On April 24–25, Li Hanyang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Yuchai Group and Chairman of Yuchai Co., Ltd., led a team to visit public transport and municipal operation companies as well as local partners in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He also held talks with Diego, Deputy Mayor of Rio de Janeiro, to further deepen international cooperation.
At present, Yuchai engines have realized large-scale supporting matching with world-renowned brands including Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen, and have been put into mass operation in the Brazilian market. With outstanding product performance, Yuchai has built a sound local market reputation.
During the meeting with local partners, both sides signed a new localized cooperation letter of intent, ushering in a new stage of Yuchai's localization layout in Brazil. In 2026, Yuchai's localized products will be launched to the Brazilian market in batches, facilitating the green and low-carbon transformation of the transportation industry in Brazil and South America.
