Recently, Zheng Hua, Secretary of the Party Committee of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd., led a delegation to Yuchai. He held in-depth discussions with Li Hanyang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Yuchai Group, as well as Chairman of Yuchai Co., Ltd., and other leaders to deepen cooperation consensus and expand market reach.
Since the first Dongfeng vehicle equipped with a Yuchai engine rolled off the production line in 1985, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle has cumulatively installed over 700,000 Yuchai engines. In recent years, the two parties have maintained regular exchanges in product development and marketing, cementing increasingly close cooperation with broad prospects.
The delegation led by Zheng Hua inspected Yuchai's intelligent workshops and testing centers, gaining a detailed understanding of the company's capabilities in technological R&D, production and manufacturing, and on-site management. During the meeting, both sides conducted in-depth deliberations on joint development, sales and services, overseas expansion, and intelligent equipment cooperation, reaching multiple strategic cooperation consensuses.
This high-level exchange has carried forward the over 40-year cooperative friendship between Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle and Yuchai. Both parties agreed to leverage their respective core strengths to conduct more in-depth and extensive cooperation in traditional power, new energy power, and overseas markets. They will join hands to advance the high-end, green and international development of China's commercial vehicle industry and deliver greater commercial value to global customers.
