On August 28, Li Hanyang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Yuchai Group as well as Chairman of Yuchai Co., Ltd., led a team to visit Chery Commercial Vehicle (Anhui) Co., Ltd. He held discussions with Gong Yueqiong, Vice President of Chery Holding Group Co., Ltd. and General Manager of Chery Commercial Vehicle (Anhui) Co., Ltd. The two sides reached important consensus on deepening strategic cooperation and signed a framework agreement on business cooperation on‑site.
During the symposium, both parties fully reviewed their more than ten‑year‑long cooperation history and spoke highly of past cooperation achievements. Yuchai gave a detailed introduction to its corporate development and demonstrated its industrial competitiveness in commercial vehicle power, marine power, flywheel range‑extension technology, high‑end equipment manufacturing and other sectors. Focusing on strategic cooperation, the two sides analyzed cooperation opportunities, sorted out entry points for collaboration and discussed implementation pathways for joint projects.
Both sides agreed that Chery and Yuchai enjoy high industrial compatibility, strong complementarity and broad cooperation prospects. Both parties intend to leverage their respective core strengths in R&D, smart manufacturing and global layout to deepen joint R&D and industrial‑level coordination, and jointly explore overseas markets.
