Customized to meet local public transport operational demands, the buses are mainly powered by YCK05 and YCK08 engines. The YCK05 engine is widely recognized in the local market for its robust power, low fuel consumption, lightweight design and excellent low-speed torque. Boasting high horsepower, the YCK08 engine is ideal for high-frequency, high-passenger-capacity operation. As a mature product that has supported numerous large-scale events, it has been fully proven in terms of reliability and fuel economy.

Serving as official vehicles for the 3rd CIS Games held from September 28 to October 8, these buses provided shuttle transportation for athletes, officials and spectators between competition venues. Meanwhile, Yuchai set up a professional service team. The team completed full commissioning of all vehicle power systems prior to the Games and worked out emergency plans tailored to local road conditions. They stayed on duty throughout the event, safeguarding the Games with reliable power and premium services.

Event officials stated that Yuchai's service team delivered an outstanding performance beyond expectations. From comprehensive pre-event inspections of power systems to round-the-clock on-site support during the Games, the team eliminated numerous potential worries for the organizers. Bus drivers also praised Yuchai engines highly. They said the engines deliver strong and stable performance during startup and uphill travel. With Yuchai technicians conducting daily routine vehicle inspections, the drivers felt completely reassured.
