The calibrated power of the diesel generator set is for a specific environmental condition, the environmental condition refers to the ambient atmospheric pressure, temperature and relative humidity of the diesel generator operating location, which have a great impact on the performance and work efficiency of the diesel generator.
1, when the ambient atmospheric pressure is reduced, the temperature is increased and the relative humidity is increased, the dry air in the diesel cylinder will be reduced, and the power of the diesel engine will be reduced. On the contrary, the power of the diesel engine will increase. Then when the ambient temperature is too low, when the temperature of the water tank cooling water is too low, the lubricating oil temperature drops, the oil viscosity is large when the temperature is low, and its fluidity becomes worse, not only increasing the wear of the parts of the diesel generator set, but also increasing the mechanical power loss due to the increase of the movement resistance of the parts, the output power of the diesel generator set will be reduced.
2. The ambient temperature is too low, the cylinder temperature will be very low, the water vapor in the cylinder is easy to condense on the cylinder wall, and the sulfur dioxide generated when the diesel generator burns meets the water condensing on the cylinder wall, it will become a strong corrosive agent adhering to the cylinder wall, so the surface of the cylinder wall will be strongly corroded, resulting in loose metal structure on the surface; When the cylinder liner and the piston ring rub and scrape each other, the loose metal on the surface of the corrosion layer will soon wear off, or there will be corrosion spots and pits on the working surface of the cylinder liner.
3. Heat loss increases and fuel consumption increases
When the diesel generator set works at low temperature, the cooling water takes away a lot of heat energy in the cylinder, which increases the heat loss. The mixture can not be formed and burned well, and the fuel consumption will increase by 8% to 10%; Droplets of fuel into the cylinder will wash the lubricating oil film on the cylinder wall and penetrate into the crankcase, increasing the wear of parts, diluting the lubricating oil in the oil pan, increasing fuel consumption and reducing power output.
4. The combustion deteriorates and the performance of the whole machine deteriorates
Some parts are heated and expanded because the temperature is too low and do not expand to the due size, which affects the performance of the whole machine, such as the gap between the piston and the cylinder is too large, and the seal is not good; The valve clearance is too large and affected by the impact of the rocker arm, etc., and makes the diesel generator difficult to start. When the diesel engine is working, the high temperature of the compressed gas is the necessary condition to ensure the fuel fire, when the temperature of the cylinder, piston and other parts is reduced, it will cause the temperature drop at the end of compression, the ignition delay and the deterioration of combustion conditions, resulting in incomplete fuel combustion, the diesel generator work rough and exhaust smoke.
