Purchased jointly by three local transportation enterprises, the fleet arrived in Saudi Arabia in early April and has since been officially put into operation, mainly undertaking large-scale passenger transportation support tasks during the Hajj.
As one of the world's largest religious events, the Hajj imposes extremely stringent requirements on transportation support: handling high passenger flow density within a short period, requiring vehicles to operate continuously for long hours, and maintaining stable and reliable performance under extreme high-temperature conditions. In terms of power configuration, all buses in this batch are uniformly equipped with Yuchai's YC6MK engine, a model that has been widely applied in Yuchai's Middle East market. Notably, tailored to Saudi Arabia's natural environment of high temperatures and heavy sand and dust, Yuchai has specially enhanced the cooling system and air intake filtration system of the YC6MK engine. This enhancement significantly improves the engine's stability under prolonged, high-load operation, providing a solid power guarantee for Hajj transportation support.
