To improve the standby power supply system of the campus and ensure uninterrupted power supply for office work, industry supervision systems, computer room equipment and emergency command facilities, Anhui Post Administration Bureau purchased standby power generation equipment. The project is equipped with 2 sets of 2000kW high-voltage generator sets (16VC), which were delivered in November 2019, followed by on-site installation, commissioning and acceptance.

The 16VC high-voltage generator set is a high-power standby power supply device with a rated output power of 2000kW per unit and a total installed capacity of 4000kW for two units, which is compatible with the campus high-voltage power supply system. Adopting the dedicated structural design of 16VC series and matching the operating parameters of high-voltage power distribution, the equipment adapts to the power load characteristics of office buildings, data computer rooms and business scheduling platforms. It features reliable start-up, stable power supply and steady load capacity, meeting the emergency power guarantee requirements under sudden power outage conditions.

Postal supervision work and information-based computer room equipment require high power supply continuity. Temporary municipal power outages, line maintenance and grid fluctuations will affect daily office operations, business system operation and data equipment safety. As key standby power facilities of the campus, the high-voltage generator sets can be quickly put into operation once the mains power fails, providing continuous power support for core office areas, industry supervision systems, computer room storage equipment and on-duty emergency facilities. The sets can avoid business interruption, equipment shutdown and data anomalies caused by sudden power cuts, and ensure the normal operation of basic business under daily and emergency conditions.
Put into service after delivery in November 2019, the 2000kW high-voltage generator sets have filled the configuration gap of high-power emergency power supply equipment in the campus, optimized the institutional standby power guarantee system, and effectively improved the power supply support capacity during mains power faults and line maintenance. They have provided a stable standby power foundation for the daily office work, industry supervision and computer room operation and maintenance of Anhui Post Administration Bureau.
