As a landmark digital infrastructure project in the region, the Ulanqab H Project Cloud Data Center undertakes core businesses covering large-scale data storage, cloud computing and computing power scheduling. Given the high operational standards of cloud service scenarios, the project sets stringent requirements on the stability, continuity and safety of power supply, making a complete emergency standby power system an indispensable core supporting facility.
To meet the project's round-the-clock and high-load power supply assurance needs, the data center is equipped with 36 units of 1800kW 16VC series generator sets. Featuring mature technologies, sufficient power reserve and strong load adaptability, the 16VC series boasts stable operation, low fuel consumption and excellent durability. It can quickly respond to grid anomalies, sudden power outages and voltage fluctuations to realize seamless power switching. This ensures the continuous and stable operation of server clusters, precision data center equipment, cooling systems and auxiliary facilities, effectively avoiding data loss, service downtime and system failures, and building a solid power guarantee for the long-term stable operation of the cloud data center.
With standardized production processes, strict quality control systems and rich experience in large-scale project delivery, we have fully abided by contract terms and construction schedules to complete equipment manufacturing, factory testing, pre-delivery commissioning and batch shipment. Thanks to overall scientific planning and efficient on-site execution, all 36 high-power 1800kW generator sets were fully delivered in December 2023. All technical parameters and performance indicators fully conform to design specifications and international industrial standards, marking the successful completion of the phased supply and delivery tasks.
The timely delivery of this batch of equipment has effectively accelerated the overall construction progress of the Ulanqab H Project Cloud Data Center and optimized its emergency power supply system.
