This project is an emergency standby power supply supporting project for the Ningbo International Trade and Exhibition Center. It is equipped with a 1800kW diesel generator unit adopting the 16VC power model. The equipment completed the whole process of delivery, on-site installation and commissioning in 2018, and was officially put into operation in the venue's emergency standby power system.

As a core commercial and exhibition venue in Ningbo, the Ningbo International Trade and Exhibition Center hosts various large-scale exhibitions, business conferences and economic and trade events all year round. The venue is equipped with a wide range of electrical systems including intelligent equipment, lighting, air conditioning, fire protection and security monitoring with concentrated power loads, which puts forward high requirements for power supply reliability. To cope with sudden mains power outage, circuit faults and power supply interruption caused by extreme weather, and ensure the normal operation of the venue and the smooth holding of large-scale events, a high-power emergency generator unit was deployed to build an independent emergency power supply guarantee system.

The equipped 1800kW 16VC generator unit adopts a mature 16-cylinder power structure and turbocharging technology with stable power output and strong load adaptability, which can fully meet the overall emergency power load demand of the exhibition venue. The equipment features fast start response and stable grid-connected operation, adapting to the conventional working condition of long-term standby and short-term full-load operation of large venues. With mature market application, low operation failure rate, convenient maintenance and reasonable fuel consumption, this model can provide stable long-term emergency power support for the venue.

Implemented in strict accordance with relevant national and industrial standards for building electromechanical installation and power engineering, the project finished all working procedures in 2018, including equipment positioning, pipeline layout, circuit connection, overall commissioning, no-load and on-load tests, and passed the project acceptance successfully for regular standby operation. After being put into use, the equipment has effectively improved the venue's emergency power supply system and power fault response capability, providing reliable emergency power guarantee for the daily operation of the venue and the holding of various large-scale exhibition events.
