They held in‑depth discussions with Li Hanyang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Yuchai Group as well as Chairman of Yuchai Co., Ltd., and other senior leaders, to explore new paths for high‑quality development.
Yuchai and Foton share a long‑standing and solid‑foundation strategic partnership spanning nearly 30 years. Power supply cooperation has gradually expanded to a full range of commercial vehicle segments, delivering comprehensive and deep‑rooted collaboration. Both enterprises have achieved cumulative production and sales of over 10 million units, setting a fine example for in‑depth cooperation between domestic commercial‑vehicle manufacturers and powertrain suppliers.
This discussion mainly focused on expanding cooperation outcomes of the Auman Xinghui Project. Both sides identified key priorities for future cooperation. They will continue to deepen technical collaboration in cutting‑edge fields including energy‑saving high‑efficiency power products and new‑energy powertrains, accelerating the launch of high‑end and eco‑friendly supporting products. Market synergy will be strengthened to cultivate key domestic markets and advance Foton's localized overseas layout. Leveraging resources such as Yuchai's oversea manufacturing bases, the two parties will support Foton in exploring international markets. A regular high‑level communication mechanism will also be improved to break down collaboration barriers across research‑and‑development, production and marketing chains, so as to realize complementary resources, combine respective strengths, enhance overall product competitiveness and deliver greater value to end‑users.
During the visit, Lu Zhenghua and his team toured Yuchai's smart factory and the National Engineering Research Center, gaining detailed insights into Yuchai's intelligent manufacturing, technology upgrading and new‑product roadmap.
