In order to objectively assess the actual performance of Yuchai YC6J180-33 and YC6J220-33 engines, field operation tests were carried out under real working conditions for sand and aggregate transportation.
The test runs between sand and gravel yards and material stockyards, covering mainly dirt roads and simple gravel roads. The one-way distance ranges from 50 to 80 km, with a round trip within 150 km. Such conditions are highly consistent with the daily operation scenarios of local transport users.

The test vehicles are dump trucks produced by Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle: model BJ3183DKPEA-FA equipped with Yuchai YC6J180-33 and model BJ3183DKPEA-FB equipped with Yuchai YC6J220-33. Their rated payloads are 19 tons and 22 tons separately, and the normal operating speed is between 60 and 80 km/h.
