To validate the real-road performance of the Yuchai YC6G260N-50 (6GN) engine, an actual operation test was carried out in accordance with the real working conditions of urban public transport in Guatemala. The test route runs from Guadalupe to Alameda, covering suburban roads with a round-trip distance of 104 km. This test fully reflects the daily operation scenario of local public transport users.
The test vehicle is a Golden Dragon XML6105CNG city bus equipped with the Yuchai YC6G260N-50 engine, with a rated load of 18 tons. The vehicle operates at a normal speed range of 40–60 km/h. A competing engine of the same horsepower was used for comparison under identical route, load, and speed conditions.
