As a key supporting project in the layout of the core hub of the "East Data West Computing" project in Gui'an New Area, Phase III of the High-End Park of Gui'an H Project Data Center focuses on the core demand of high-end computing power guarantee and plans to configure 50 sets of 1800kW 16VC-type generator sets. After the closed-loop promotion of the entire process, including preliminary preparation, equipment customization, and installation and commissioning, the project team successfully completed the delivery of all units in March 2024, which were officially put into standby operation. This has laid a solid power guarantee for the project's computing power base and helped promote the high-quality development of the digital economy in Gui'an New Area.

The 16VC-type generator sets delivered this time are customized products specially designed to meet the emergency power supply needs of large-scale high-end data centers. They are equipped with a 16-cylinder V-type engine as the core component, with a rated power of 1800kW per unit, enabling 100% full-load operation without flameout in one step. Tested under the local altitude environment in Gui'an, the units show zero capacity reduction. They not only meet the emergency power supply needs of high-density cabinets in data centers during full-load operation but also balance reliability, energy efficiency, and environmental protection, which is highly consistent with the green and low-carbon development concept of data centers in Gui'an New Area.
To ensure the on-time and high-quality delivery of the units, the project team contacted the equipment manufacturer in advance to complete customized production, which accurately matches the layout of the project's computer room and the power supply structure. During the installation phase, the team overcame multiple challenges, such as computer room renovation and equipment hoisting, optimized the layout plan of the units and supporting equipment, and completed the commissioning of auxiliary equipment including parallel operation control cabinets. Before delivery, through no-load testing, load testing, and full-process joint commissioning, it was ensured that the units could start automatically quickly and operate in parallel stably when the commercial power was interrupted, thus comprehensively protecting the computing power security of the data center.
The smooth delivery of these 50 units not only marks the successful completion of the core power supporting project for Phase III of Gui'an H Project but also further improves the power guarantee system of the Gui'an data center cluster. After being put into use, the units will greatly enhance the project's emergency power supply capacity and computing power carrying level, providing reliable support for various computing power scenarios such as "East Data West Training" and "East Data West Rendering". This will help Gui'an New Area build a national computing power guarantee base and promote the accelerated upgrading of the regional digital industry.
