To support capacity expansion, Guizhou Xingyang Mining faced prominent power supply problems, including insufficient load capacity of the original power system, grid instability and frequent power curtailment. Affected by high altitude, heavy dust and large temperature differences in the mining area, conventional generator sets struggle to adapt to long-term heavy-load operation. The mine therefore adopted the 16VC high-pressure common rail 3000kW generator set to build a self-provided power station to solve production power bottlenecks and eliminate potential safety hazards of underground equipment power failure.

Equipped with a professional electronic common rail fuel system, the unit features stable fuel consumption, sufficient combustion and fast transient load response, effectively avoiding shutdown and tripping faults caused by mining equipment impact loads. Optimized and calibrated for high-altitude hypoxic environments, it maintains stable power output and reliable cold-start performance under harsh working conditions. The robust structural design adapts to long-duration continuous operation, while the modular structure facilitates daily maintenance. The intelligent control system supports rapid grid switching, ensuring uninterrupted operation of key underground safety equipment.
 
The project adopts a standard containerized silent power station with dustproof, waterproof, anti-corrosion and noise reduction configurations, suitable for outdoor mining operation. It realizes seamless switching between self-generation and municipal grid power, ensuring continuous production during grid maintenance and power outages. Professional on-site commissioning, full-load testing and personnel training were completed, with 24/7 after-sales service to guarantee stable equipment operation.
 
After put into operation, the unit effectively solves the power supply constraints of mine expansion, supporting full-load continuous production and reaching upgraded capacity targets. It improves mine operation safety, reduces operational and maintenance costs with stable fuel economy and low failure rate.
